Both my mother and my father are artists. Perhaps that explains why I like handcrafted things, pieces that you will never see anywhere else because only one of them was made. I started my journey of making my own Judaica while living in remote areas of the country, where there was little contact with other Jews. I began making my own tallitot when my daughter was a bat mitzvah. The Rabbi we were seeing liked her students to make a tallit for themselves. While I helped my daughter with hers I also made one for me. And I was off and running. After making five, or so, tallitot for myself I decided to act on what people were saying - to make them for others and sell them. I hope you enjoy the interesting combinations of fabrics and trims.
